Dorico
Dorico is a comprehensive music notation software designed to support the entire musical workflow, from composition to publication.
It enables composers to write music efficiently with flexible input and editing tools, allowing them to refine ideas freely at any stage. The software also offers powerful arranging features, making it easy to adapt music for different instruments, transpose, transform harmonies, or generate parts from chord symbols.
Dorico includes high-quality sounds, audio effects, and a full mixer, allowing users to produce realistic playback and fine-tune musical interpretation. It supports seamless import and export of formats such as MIDI and MusicXML, facilitating collaboration and sharing across platforms, including desktop and iPad.
Its advanced engraving engine automatically produces professional-quality scores, with extensive customization options when needed. Widely used in educational contexts, Dorico is also a valuable tool for teaching and learning music theory, thanks to its intuitive design and rich learning resources.
The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners. It was developed as part of the "Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud" SSHOC project, European Union's Horizon 2020 project call H2020-INFRAEOSC-04-2018, grant agreement #823782.
